Missouri Young African Professionals in partnership with Webster University African Student Association Present: Mental Health in the African Community .

What is mental health? What is mental health in the African community? Does stigma play a role in the denial within the African community or it is just an American problem?

Come join s for this discussion that will be lead by Haja Fofana, a native from Liberia and Guinea and a family therapist at NCADA.

Haja will be exploring and unpacking the common misconception about mental health in the African community and also discussing some of the intervention and resources that are available in the St. Louis region.
